Oscar provides comic relief.
We love Doggy Daycare (and I think the dogs do too).
Yesterday, Chloe and Oscar met Molly, a Victorian bulldog. She was a beauty. I’ve never met a Victorian bulldog in person but let me tell you, I instantly saw the appeal. Stocky, built like bodybuilders and super nice to people. Sorry for the fuzzy pics, let’s just say the dogs weren’t exactly posing for portraits.
“With all this nice grass, why are you laying in the dirt?”
Oscar meeting a Westie statue.
Today we went to a big dog park near our house with a great view of downtown Calgary. Chloe played fetch and Oscar explored around and played with some big dogs. We love Saturdays!
Sometimes our dogs spend time chewing things that aren’t our cell phones, glasses, guitar picks, guest’s shoes, recyclables, clothing, towels, blankets, gloves, books, important documents…
This picture was from last weekend. This weekend it’s supposed to snow.
Chloe is all good with other dogs off leash but recently we’ve been having a little trouble with her behaviour towards other dogs while on leash. We decided to try to capitalize on her love for her ball by letting her carry it while we went for a walk. As it turns out, she was so focused on her ball that we had no issue with her pulling toward or barking at the other dogs we passed. It’s an added bonus that dogs carrying toys while walking is just about the cutest thing ever. Oscar was just happy to be out in the sun. Solid leash control combined with BEAUTIFUL spring weather made for an excellent walk today.
Sometimes it seems Oscar just wants to lick things because he saw us eating them. The yogurt in this cup was loooong gone. Sorry about the sound, I don’t know what that buzz is all about.
