This weekend Chloe and Oscar’s buddy Kingston the dachshund came by for a sleepover. He was a little timid at first but he ended up taking over the park near our house…and our couch. The weather was also awesome for the end of September so the buddies spent a lot of time in the backyard.
Training Chloe to control her fetching.
There’s a lot of hokey crap out there that’s advertised to make your dog behave perfectly. I know this because we’ve bought a lot of it. BUT, we’ve still been looking for something that may help Oscar heel properly on walks. Head control collars (halties) work well but he has enough trouble breathing as a brachycephalic dog as it is. Anyway, after reading some reviews we decided to give Premier’s Easy Walk harnesses a try and whadyaknow, they work spectacularly! I’d recommend them to anyone and I’m not even on Premier’s payroll (I wouldn’t turn a cheque down if anyone from Premier reads this).
We have the rainy-day blues.
Sorry for the lack of updates. It seems the more fun we have on the weekend, the less time I have to post. Anyway, we had some friends visiting us this weekend who helped run the dogs ragged at the park. It’s no secret that Small Little Bulldogs overheat, and when things get a little hot, there’s nothing like some cold pavement to roll around on. Summer is coming, be careful with your squishy-faced pups!
Happy 3rd Birthday, Chloe!
Chloe and Oscar are friends with a miniature dachshund named Kingston. They’ve known him since all three dogs were little puppies. This weekend we all went out to the park to enjoy the nice weather.
A video from when we first got Oscar…
Chloe loves playing fetch. Oscar gives no F’s!
Nicest weekend of the year so far! The little buddies are exhausted!
